Turkish Industry & Business Association (TUSIAD) and the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on May 29, in Paris.

The MoU, signed by TUSIAD Deputy Secretary General Hale Hatipoğlu and FKI Deputy Secretary General Chisung Eom, aims is to promote bilateral economic cooperation across a broad spectrum of industry and service sectors in digital economy, industry 4.0, infrastructure & construction, and energy.

In this context, TUSIAD and FKI will establish Korean-Turkish high-level business forum to render mutual support in expanding trade and innovation, sharing information, and exploring new projects of cooperation in the related fields. Moreover, the parties will work together on consultations regarding digital transformation policies of the respective industries between Korean and Turkish private sectors and facilitate dialogue on international developments with respect to Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. The first meeting of the Forum is planned in South Korea in the 1st half of 2019.
